Entrepeneur and Founder
Maryanna founded her first company in 2011, leading an innovative e-commerce platform dedicated to eco-friendly fashion accessories. Her products could be found in some of the biggest Slovenian retail stores.
In 2013 she became the sole representant in Portugal and Spain of 4 Slovenian online stores, focusing mostly on natural supplements.
Passionate About Helping Others
Maryanna Franco has always been deeply committed to giving back. She has volunteered at local food banks, helping to provide essential resources to families in need, and spent summers working with children at camps, creating safe and engaging environments for them to learn and grow.
However, the project that had the greatest impact on her was SOGA. She traveled to a remote island in Guinea-Bissau for three weeks, where she helped build a health center, a school, and water filtration systems to improve access to clean water. She also became an advocate for women’s rights, supporting local efforts to create better opportunities for women and girls.
This experience reinforced her belief in the power of community-driven change and continues to inspire her commitment to making a difference.
Singer and Artist
Believe it or not, Maryanna has a degree in Lyric singing! She didn’t chose to become a professional musician but she did sing on many stages years ago.
In 2016, she launched a project featuring Slovenian children’s videos and songs on YouTube (Carobni Gozd). Inspired by her own children, she realized they had plenty of content in Portuguese, their native language, but lacked resources in Slovenian.
